Mountain road users beware
Inner West Patrol group are appealing for all road users to slow down and drive with care on our mountain roads.
We urge you to beware of the changing road conditions, debris and road works between Mt Nebo and Mt Glorious. Please take extra care.
The cooler months are quickly approaching which can bring high winds and slippery road surfaces due to morning and evening dew.
Our message to road users is clear:
Drive and ride within the speed limit;
Drive and ride to the road conditions;
Drive and ride to your capabilities; and
Enjoy your trip.
Plan before you go. For up-to-date road condition information on roadworks and traffic conditions across Queensland visit QLDTraffic.qld.gov.au.
