Police from Mango Hill and North Lakes Station are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a vehicle involved in a traffic crash and alleged road rage incident this week.
Between 7am and 7.35am on Monday March 11, a white Ford Fiesta was travelling northbound on the Gateway Motorway when nearing the service station at Nudgee another vehicle was seen to swerve over the lanes, braking in front of vehicles and coming to a complete stop in the middle lane.
One vehicle was unable to stop in time and hit the rear of the vehicle.
The vehicle then proceeded to tailgate and follow the Ford Fiesta until the Anzac Avenue overpass at North Lakes where an alleged assault occurred.
The victim of this incident reports seeing members of the public recording the assault and police are seeking any dash cam footage of a white possibly a Mazda or similar vehicle on the nominated roads and

Update 8: Death investigation, Karawatha
Detectives have charged a further four people following the investigation into the death of a woman at Karawatha last month.
The body of Megan Kirley was found at a Wembley Road property just after 3am on Saturday, February 9.
A 21-year-old Waterford West man, a 28-year-old Slacks Creek man, a 42-year-old Kingston woman and a 31-year-old Runcorn man have all been charged with one count each of murder, manslaughter and attempted armed robbery.
They all due to appear at the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow, March 12.
On March 2 police charged a 40-year-old Acacia Ridge man with one count of murder.

Update 2: Suspicious death investigation, Wishart
Detectives have charged a man following the investigation into the death of a man on Saturday night.
Investigations indicate around 10.30pm a 42-year-old Upper Mount Gravatt man was driven to the QEII Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased from significant injuries.
A crime scene was later declared at an address in Lani Street, Wishart where a number of items of interest were seized including two vehicles.
Today a man was located by police at Spring Hill.
A 29-year-old Loganlea man has been charged with one count of murder and will appear at the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Traffic operation, Mount Glorious and Mount Nebo
On the evening of March 7, police from the Inner West Patrol Groups and Road Policing Command conducted a partnership operation to target drink and drug driving, poor driving behaviours and defective vehicle offences on Mount roads of Ferny Grove Police Division.
These traffic operations will continue over the coming month with the aim to reduce road trauma due to traffic crashes caused by driver behaviours or faulty motor vehicles.
Simply, if your driving behaviour is of concern to the everyday road user or driving with illegal substances in your system, you will be found and you will face the court system.

Fatal traffic crash, Paddington
Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating after a woman died in a traffic crash in Paddington this afternoon.
Around 3.30pm a motorcyclist was travelling north on Hale Street. As she approached the Caxton Street on ramp she has collided with a vehicle and came off the bike.
The rider, a Bridgeman Downs woman in her 40s, died at the scene.
Investigators are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision on Hale Street around 3.30pm to contact police.

Appeal for witnesses, Mount Coot-tha crash
Police are appealing for witnesses to a single vehicle crash that occurred on March 6 at Mount Coot-tha.
Preliminary information suggests a red Honda Civic was travelling north west along Sir Samuel Griffith Drive around 10.40pm when it lost control and struck a tree.
All five occupants of the vehicle sustained injuries as a result of the crash.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time, witnessed the crash or the car prior to the incident, or have dashcam vision to come forward.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
Final update: Logan disturbance
Yesterday afternoon police charged a 33-year-old Upper Coomera man for his alleged involvement in an incident at a shopping centre at Loganholme on Monday, February 4.
The man has been charged with one count of affray and one count of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm. Police will further allege a circumstance of aggravation to the charge, that this man is a member of a criminal organisation (Rebels Outlaw Motorcycle Gang).
It will be alleged that on February 4, around 4.30pm the man was one of a number of men who were involved in an altercation in this shopping centre. This altercation resulted in a 27-year-old man receiving a gunshot wound to his leg.
Following the incident, significant investigations were undertaken by the Logan Criminal Investigation Branch supported by State Crime Command and resulting in all offenders involved in this matter being charged with a range of serious offences. These matters are

Detectives are investigating a suspicious fire which occurred in Brendale overnight.
Emergency services attended the South Pine Road business around midnight and found the premises well alight.
Preliminary investigations indicate the blaze may have been deliberately lit.
The fire was extinguished quickly, however caused extensive damage to the business with some neighbouring properties sustaining smoke and water damage.
