Removed screws from vehicles at Ashgrove Golf Club
Inner West Crime Prevention attended the Ashgrove Golf Club today to attached one way screws to almost 40 vehicles.
Thanks to the outstanding efforts of our wonderful Volunteers in Policing and also to the members of the Ashgrove Golf Club for hosting us.
There are a number of strategies to reduce the likelihood of thieves stealing number plates:
park your vehicle in a well lit highly visible area, preferably a supervised car park rather than on the street;
park your vehicle inside your garage or yard and lock the gate or door; and
use non-reversible one-way screws to attach number plates to the vehicle (contact crime prevention for supply details).
Inner West Crime Prevention will be at shopping centres in the area over the next few weeks attaching one way screws for free.
