A message from your local officer this O-Week

Brisbane Inner West Police are continuing their work to encourage young students to be aware of their actions and decisions when out and drinking.
Senior Constable Paul Bagnall said he is hoping that the message gets across to young people who enjoy a night out.
“We just want everyone to realise that a fight over nothing really could change everything,” Senior Constable Bagnall said.
“It’s not just about drinking, it’s about the decisions you make while having a drink or while out with friends who are affected by alcohol.
“By all means, go out and have a good time, but don’t go overboard.
“As your local police, we all too often deal with people who have let the drink get the better of them, becoming aggressive and making a nuisance of themselves.
“You can see by looking around that they’ve brought the mood down. Friends look scared and other patrons look annoyed. It’s just not worth
