Stop crime: self-serve style

Click on the image to download the household security checklist (PDF).
Ever wanted to get active in your neighbourhood to help stop crime?
It is an unfortunate fact that homes in suburbs that form part of our Inner West Policing Patrol Group including suburbs covered by the Indooroopilly, The Gap and Ferny Grove police stations, have experienced a steady number of break and enter offences in recent times.
Some of these offences were opportunistic with offenders gaining entry through unlocked doors and windows whilst other offences have been forcing entry to homes to steal property and in some cases stealing motor vehicles also.
By taking the self-serve security check you can make a difference. Use the enclosed Household Security Checklist here to conduct your own security check.
By making small changes to your security habits and by talking to your family and friends and telling them to make changes, then you can help to reduce and even stop crime in your suburb.
