Police are seeking public assistance to help identify two men following a stealing matter that occurred in Auchenflower Monday morning.
Around 1.16am a white Toyota Hilux utility was used to smash into a parking ticket machine located in a Lang Parade multi-storey carpark.
Police will allege the two men then used a number of tools to force open the machine before they fitted a chain around an internal safe and removed it.
The machine was dragged approximately 50 metres before causing a significant amount of damage.
The internal safe is described as being 40 centimetres wide and about 180 centimetres in height.
Investigations indicate the ute had been stolen from a Turner Avenue address in Fairfield on Saturday.
Police are appealing for anyone with information or relevant dashcam footage about this matter to contact police.

Update – Fatal motorbike crash, Capalaba
Investigators have launched an appeal for information following a fatal motorbike crash at Capalaba yesterday as they work to identify motorists who were in the area.
While investigators have already identified some vehicles in the area, they have released dashcam footage of a red sedan, possibly a Holden Commodore, they would like to speak with the driver as they may have relevant information.
Initial inquiries indicate the man was travelling westbound on Finucane Road around 3.40pm when he lost control of his motorbike near Elmhurst Street.
The 31-year-old Birkdale man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Forensic Crash Unit investigators are appealing for any witnesses who have not yet contacted them or anyone who may have additional dash cam vision to contact them.

Appeal for assistance to burglary, Arana Hills
Detectives from Ferny Grove Criminal Investigation Branch have released CCTV footage of two men who may be able to assist them in relation to a break and enter at a home in Arana Hills.
Between 4.34am and 4.43am on Sunday, September 15, a secured home on Plucks Road, Arana Hills was allegedly unlawfully entered by unknown means.
Two men were captured on CCTV to enter the garage and inspect vehicles, enter the rear of the address and a short time later exit the address and continue on foot in an easterly direction.

Both men are described as being between 18 and 30-years-old.
The first man is described as appearing unshaven and wearing long trackpants, baseball cap, hooded jumper, gloves, sports shoes and carrying an item to conceal his face.

Update 3: Appeal for assistance and release of CCTV – Death investigation, Kalinga Park
Detectives investigating the death of 26-year-old Ioli Hadjilyra whose body was found in Kalinga Park on Wednesday, September 4 have released the name and image of a man who may able to assist with their investigation.
Bradley Edwards, 34 (pictured below) is described as Aboriginal, 190cm tall, slim build, black hair and brown eyes.
Police believe Mr Edwards may frequent within the inner-city and North Brisbane areas including Fortitude Valley, Nundah and Windsor.
Police are urging anyone who sights Mr Edwards or has any information regarding his current whereabouts to not approach him and to immediately call Triple Zero (000).

A team of detectives and specialist police continue to investigate the death of 26-year-old Ioli Hadjilyra.
The crime scene examination by forensic officers has been completed and police have conducted a thorough search of Kalinga Park and adjacent railway lines for any evidence.
An Investigation Centre has been established at Hendra Police Station with more than 40 detectives, intelligence and forensic officers investigating Ms Hadjilyra’s death after her body was located in Kalinga Park on Wednesday, August 4.
Detective Inspective Tim Trezise, Gateway Crime Group, North Brisbane District said police continued to appeal to the public for assistance.
“We continue to appeal for any sightings of Ms Hadjilyra in or around Eagle Junction or Toombul railway stations or Kalinga Park on Tuesday night (September 3) or Wednesday morning (September 4).”
Police have no information to suggest there is a risk to public safety and the community should feel free to go about their daily business
Death investigation, Clayfield (Kalinga)
A crime scene has been established following the discovery of a woman’s body in an area off Diggers Road at Clayfield near Kalinga Park this morning.
Police were notified by a member of the public shortly before midday and are now investigating the circumstances.
Forensic specialists will be required to identify the person.
An Investigation Centre has been established at Hendra Police Station with assistance from the Homicide Investigation Unit.
Investigations are continuing.
