Inner West Patrol group are appealing for all road users, especially motorcyclists, to slow down and drive to the ever changing conditions.
Motorcycle riders are urged to be aware of the changing road conditions and to take extra care when operating their motorcycle as winter can bring high winds and the road surface can become slippery due to morning and evening dew and sun light fades quicker.
Road conditions can change from corner to corner.
There have been reports of single vehicle accidents earlier on Sunday morning on Mount Glorious Road.
Please be aware as road conditions can change dramatically.

Police from the Inner West Patrol Group are conducting the Mt Zero campaign this weekend. It all started up at Mt Coot-tha on Saturday morning with police spreading road safety messages to road users that meet there.

This morning, officers also attended Mt Glorious and Mt Nebo areas to speak with local residents, motorcycle riders and cyclists about sharing the road safely.
Mt Zero is a campaign created to raise awareness of the dangers of Mt Nebo and Mt Glorious Roads. Common causal factors contributing to accidents on these roads were speed, lack of rider experience, rider error, motorcycle visibility and collision with other vehicles.
Police will continue to remind all road users on the dangers of the mountain roads they are about to experience. The aim of the campaign is to reduce accidents and fatalities on these mountain roads.

Police have released further images of a man that may be able to assist in the investigation of a convenience store was robbery at Chermside on May 22.
At 11.10pm two men entered the Gympie Road store and threatened the male attendant with an axe and a fence paling. The men demanded money and left the store with a sum of cash. They were last seen heading toward Henry Street, Chermside.
The man pictured is driving a stolen 2014 blue Ford Focus.  Detectives are appealing for anyone who has further information in relation to this matter to contact Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.

Police of the Inner West Child Protection Unit are investigating a recent incident of suspicious behaviour which occurred on Thursday the 15th of May 2017, at approximately 5:50pm on a Ferny Grove bound train.
Police believe that the person pictured in the image may be able to assist and are urging anyone who believes they may know the person to contact police.

Ever wanted to get active in your neighbourhood to help stop crime?
It is an unfortunate fact that homes in suburbs that form part of our Inner West Policing Patrol Group including suburbs covered by the Indooroopilly, The Gap and Ferny Grove police stations, have experienced a steady number of break and enter offences in recent times.
Some of these offences were opportunistic with offenders gaining entry through unlocked doors and windows whilst other offences have been forcing entry to homes to steal property and in some cases stealing motor vehicles also.

Police of Ferny Grove Station are completing an ongoing operation “Papa Advance” to target traffic and property offenders within the district.
This operation has identified traffic offences to include unlicensed drivers and unregistered vehicles. Police had also locate a stolen vehicle and an offender with break and enter tools. All offenders have been charged in relation to these offences:

A 22-year-old man has been charged with one count each of burglary and commit indictable offence, and receive tainted property. He is to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court on May 23.
A 39-year-old man has been charged with one count each of trespass and possess by night instruments of house breaking. He is to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court on June 2.
A 44-year-old man has been charged with driving of motor vehicle without a drivers licence. He is to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court on June 8.
