Revocation of stand down, Operations Support Command

A 52-year-old male sergeant from Operations Support Command who was stood down from official duty with the Queensland Police Service will now return to operational duties.
The officer was stood down in relation to an offence of drink driving.  The court proceedings and disciplinary hearing in relation to this matter have now been finalised.
In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct.
