Detectives investigating a dispute between the drivers of two vehicles in Capalaba on Monday, April 6 have charged a man.
Around 4pm a 71-year-old man drove his gunmetal grey VW Amarok dual cab ute to the intersection of Redland Bay Road and Neuman Road.
It is alleged the occupants of a white Kia Cerato, a man and woman, exited their vehicle and approached him.
A verbal exchange occurred between the elderly man and the woman as he sat in his vehicle, before the man allegedly punched him a number of times through the driver’s side window.
The 28-year-old Mitchelton man was arrested and charged with serious assault of a person over 60.
He is due to appear in the Cleveland Magistrates Court on April 30.
