Police are appealing for information in relation to the behaviour of a man causing a disturbance at Taringa and Indooroopilly this morning.
Shortly after 8am officers were called to Morrow Street in Taringa following concerns from members of the public about a man armed with a knife and making verbal threats towards passing motorists.
Prior to police arriving, a number of calls were received about the same armed man disrupting traffic on Station Road at Indooroopilly.
The man was arrested a short time later without incident.
Investigators are appealing for anyone who observed the man described as Caucasian, aged between 30 and 40, with no shirt, beige shorts and joggers around 8am, to contact police.
Police would also like to hear from motorists travelling in those areas from 8am with dashcam footage.
