Twelve days of Christmas – On the second day of Christmas

On the second day of Christmas the Inner West Patrol Group District Crime Prevention Unit said to me, a message that you may be asked for identification by businesses if you use Paywave to purchase goods to help to prevent unauthorised transactions.
Inner West Patrol Group Police are seeking your assistance in reducing credit card fraud involving Paywave.

Often stolen credit cards are being used to purchase items such as petrol, fast food and convenience items by using the Paywave facility.
Businesses can ask you for identification to be required to reduce instances of unauthorised transactions.
We thank you for your support and patience.
