On Friday November 1, police from the Inner West Crime Prevention Unit conducted their last personal security presentation with Inner West senior citizens participating in the Jubilee Community Care Stay Standing Program for 2019.
Jubilee Community Care is a non-profit organisation which provides activities, such as regular outings and a range of exercise classes intended to keep our elderly community active and engaged with other people.
Their activities include picnics in the park, visits to local attractions, fish and chips at the seaside, shopping expeditions, fall prevention classes, personal safety and information sessions about the latest developments in aged care services.
The Inner West Crime Prevention Unit have for the past five years actively participated in Jubilee Community Care Stay Standing Program, conducting approximately four to five seniors personal safety presentations throughout the year in support of this popular program.
