The operation focused on identified areas and aimed to provide a high visibility policing presence and conduct proactive engagement with the community and local businesses.
Police were deployed to areas across Fig Tree Pocket, Kenmore, Indooroopilly, Saint Lucia and Auchenflower.
“Hay! Can we please have a couple of coffee’s to have on the trot?”
They also visited major shopping centres and rode the trains across the division.
The operation proved to be very popular with local business and members of the public as it provided them an opportunity to speak to police and discuss local crime trends or crime related concerns.
