Inner West Police are seeking assistance from the public in relation to an alleged assault which occurred on Main Street, Samford Village, at approximately 7.20am on Tuesday, September 24.
A 62-year-old man was allegedly physically assaulted by another man as a result of a road rage incident.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, has knowledge of the identity of the man involved or may have relevant dashcam footage.
Police would also like to like to speak to the driver of a brown late model Land Rover Discovery 3 or 4 observed near the incident, who may be able to assist police with their inquiries.
