Inner West Police performing RBT’s and vehicle checks in support of Queensland Road Safety Week
On Thursday, August 29, police from across the Inner West Patrol Group participated in traffic enforcement activities focusing on drink driving and distracted driving, in support of Queensland Road Safety Week.
Activities were conducted at a number of locations within Indooroopilly, The Gap, and Ferny Grove Police Divisions.
Throughout the course of the evening officers conducted 1,058 roadside breath tests (RBT’s), issued 10 traffic infringement notices and commenced proceedings against five persons on 14 charges by way of notice to appear in court.
A 26-year-old Arana Hills man was charged with four fraud related offences.
He will appear at the Brisbane Magistrates Court on October 2.
A 23-year-old Arana Hills woman was charged with drug driving, possess thing, and possessing dangerous drugs.
She will appear at the Pine Rivers Magistrates Court on November 13.
