Hilder Road State School adopts a cop

On Tuesday, August 20, Hilder Road State School officially adopted their new Adopt-a-Cop, Constable Lyndsey Askew of the Inner West Road Policing Unit.
Constable Askew was adopted at the junior school assembly where police also had the opportunity to hear all about the recent school play, ‘Amazing Adventures of Super Stan‘.
We also showed off our dancing skills by wiggling and laughing along to the Sound of Music song, De Re Mi.
To conclude the adoption ceremony, Deputy Principal Amanda Cooper presented Constable Askew with a formal certificate of adoption.
Constable Lyndsey helped Deputy Principal Cooper at the school assembly to congratulate the HERO award winners.
The HERO award is awarded to students who are harmonious, engaged, responsible and organised.
