Police continue to search for 81-year-old Cedar Creek man Maxwell Morrison who was last seen on Monday afternoon and are urging the local community to check their properties.
Mr Morrison, who has initial stages of dementia and is an insulin dependent diabetic, left a Morrison Road, Cedar Creek property around 1.30pm on Monday, August 5 and drove to Samford Village.
He left the Village and was last seen driving on Mount Glorious Road, near Samford Village at around 2pm.
It is unknown where, which direction or how far Mr Morrison may have travelled since that time with police and family holding serious concerns for his safety and well-being.
There have been no confirmed sightings of Mr Morrison or his vehicle since 2pm on Monday.
He was driving a 2004 white Nissan Navara single cab utility with Queensland registration 195-HPL. The vehicle has a distinctive steel tray with timber decking and mesh fold down vehicle ramps
