Help protect schools during the winter break

Today, members of the Inner West Patrol Group attended Ferny Grove State High School for their Coffee with a Cop event.
Officers were joined by local neighbourhood watch members and teaching staff of the local school and spent the morning mingling with a coffee in hand to keep them warm.
It was an opportunity for teaching staff to meet their local police and discuss issues that are important to them, their school and neighbourhoods.
Our invaluable neighbourhood watch members from Ferny Grove also attended to share crime prevention messages and materials.
As school holidays are commencing next week and being enjoyed across Queensland, police reminded those that attended today that they are seeking the assistance of the wider community to keep an eye on our schools while the students and teachers enjoy a break away.
