Detectives have charged two boys following an armed robbery in Sunnybank Hills on Thursday evening.
Shortly before 6:30pm on May 23, a 29-year-old man was reversing his car in a local shopping centre on Beenleigh Street when a boy opened the front passenger door, entered the vehicle and demanded money.
The boy has then also demanded the keys to the car and when the man has refused he allegedly threatened him with a knife, holding it to his throat.
The man has then noticed a second boy who has also demanded money and the keys to the car.
The boys took a sum of money but not the car keys before leaving towards Mains Road and Beenleigh Road.
Today, police charged a 15-year-old boy and a 13-year-old both from Kingston with a total of 14 charges.
