Inner West police support the Brookfield Show

Inner West Police experiencing the highs of the Brookfield Show
Between Friday, May 17 to Sunday, May 19, police from the Inner West Patrol Group provided police coverage and conducted community engagement activities at the 2019 Brookfield Show.
The police support included general duties and plain clothes officers patrolling the show grounds ensuring everyone’s safety and well being.
Officers from Road Policing made sure the surrounding roads were safe and traffic flowed smoothly in and out of the showgrounds.
Officers from the Inner West Crime Prevention Unit, along with their civilian Volunteers In Policing (VIP), provided a static display and conducted proactive community engagement activities with patrons of the show.
The display and engagement activities gave show-goers the opportunity to speak to police officers firsthand and obtain valuable information about personal and property security, road rules, vehicle licensing, registration advice and much more.
