Last night I attended a traffic crash where a young male who had consumed a quantity of alcohol had made a very poor decision to then attempt to drive his car home.
Whilst he was attempting to drive home he collided with a parked vehicle causing significant damage to his car.

As you can see the impact was substantial.
The male continued to drive the vehicle to his home address where police located him a short time later.
The male underwent a roadside breath test which returned a positive reading.
Due to the amount of damage to the vehicle and the deployment of the vehicles airbags as a result of the impact, the driver was transported to hospital and examined by medical professionals.

I spoke with the young mans’ parents for some time afterwards and they were understandably distraught about his decision to drive.
