Armed robbery, Yeronga

Detectives are investigating following an armed robbery and an attempted armed robbery in Yeronga overnight.
Around 10.13pm a man was at a service station in Fairfield Road when he was confronted by a group of men who demanded his car keys.
A physical altercation then occurred when one of the group produced a knife and used it to cut the man on the neck.
Members of the public stepped in and the group fled on foot.
The victim sustained a superficial laceration to the neck.
A short time later a man was reversing a red Toyota Yaris out of a driveway in Paragon Street when a group of men surrounded the vehicle.
The group then forced the man out of the driver’s seat before punching him in the head and stealing the vehicle.
The stolen vehicle is described as a red 2006 Toyota Yaris with Queensland registration 180-WVP.
The men are described as African and being aged in
