On Saturday December 8, Police from the Inner West Patrol Group attended the Brisbane City Council’s ‘Movie in the Park’ Christmas event at Perrin Park Taringa to engage with the community and share some Christmas spirit.
The visit enabled younger members (and even some older members) of the community to positively and actively interact with police and become junior police officers for the evening.
As part of their visit, Inner West police were given the awesome job of announcing the arrival of Santa.
Police also used their visit to confirm with Santa, that all the attending children were on his ‘nice list’, and none of them were on Santa’s ‘naughty list’.
