On Saturday December 9, Police from the Inner West Crime Prevention Unit participated in an Neighbourhood Watch Queensland appreciation event.
The event was held in recognition of the outstanding commitment the Indooroopilly 9 Neighbourhood Watch Group (NHWG) members have provided to the Kenmore East community.
The Indooroopilly 9 Neighbourhood Watch Group commenced in January 1989 and has provided continuous neighbourhood watch coverage and support to the Kenmore East community since that date.
Formal Certificates of Application were presented to past and present Indooroopilly 9 NHWG members during the conduct of the event.
Many these recipients have continued to serve tirelessly and proactively within their group since its formation in 1989.
Inner West Police would like to sincerely thank the Indooroopilly 9 NHWG for their active and enthusiastic service to the community and to the Queensland Neighbourhood Watch program in general.
