Two men have been charged following an emergency declaration in Auchenflower from yesterday.
Just after 11am, police attended an address on Coronation Drive when it will be alleged that a firearm was discharged inside a unit.
An emergency situation was declared under the provisions of the Public Safety Preservation Act and police closed streets in the immediate area.
Two men were taken into custody at 4.40pm.
No one was injured as a result of the incident.
A 33-year-old man has been charged with 21 offences including possession of a firearm, two counts unlawful possession of weapons, five counts each of of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and stealing, three counts of burglary, two counts of break and enter and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
A 29-year-old man has been charged with 17 offences including two counts of unlawful possession of weapons, four counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, three counts of stealing,
