Detectives investigating a suspicious fire at a Kallangur business that caused extensive damage in the early hours of Sunday morning are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
Around 3.40am, officers attended a pet store on Russell Street after a report of a fire.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the premises was accessed and the fire was intentionally lit.
As part of their inquiries detectives are appealing for anyone who was driving in the vicinity of Russell Street and Dohles Rock Road between midnight and 3.40am that has any dashcam footage to contact them.
Investigations continue.
