On Thursday November 15, we continued our combined partnership between Queensland Police Service (QPS) and Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) with the Road Safety Operations targeting driver behaviour and vehicle compliance issues.
Staff from Pine Rivers Operational Group, Inner West Patrol Group (Road Policing Unit), Albany Creek Police Station, Ferny Grove Police Station and TMR Inspectors were involved at various stages to inspect 1504 vehicles.
TMR officers issued 19 drivers with Defect Notices and 4 Traffic Infringement Notices.
Several of the defect notices related to modifications to light vehicles.
