Detectives are investigating after a man and woman were assaulted and robbed at Calamvale earlier tonight.
Around 7.45pm two men attended a Perkins Street residence to purchase a laptop and mobile phone from the occupants.
Once inside the two men have physically assaulted a 27-year-old man.
The second occupant, a 28-year-old woman, locked herself in an upstairs bathroom until one of the attackers broke down the door before threatening her with a firearm.
The two men then attempted to steal a number of items from the residence before fleeing prior to police arriving.
Investigations are continuing.
