On Monday, September 17, the Inner West Police District bid farewell to one their finest, with the retirement of Sergeant Dan Moore on his 60th birthday.
Sergeant Moore officially retired on Sunday, after serving faithfully and honourably for 42 years and 8 months with the Queensland Police Service.
Sergeant Moore served with the QPS from January 1976 to September 2018, and served at the following police establishments during his policing career:

During his career Sergeant Moore was an active member of the Queensland Police Bowls Club.
Sergeant Moore successfully represented the QPS in the Australian Police Games, winning medals in both singles and pairs events, and also in the Australasian Police Games.
