Inner West celebrates 30 years of Neighbourhood Watch Queensland

Inner West police and their Neighbourhood Watch Group members give 30 years of NHWQ a big thumbs up!
2018 marks 30 Years of Neighbourhood Watch Queensland (NHWQ), an organisation which plays a vital role in linking the police and the community together, and contributing to keeping Queensland safe.
The Inner West Police District currently has 16 active Neighbourhood Watch groups established throughout the Ferny Grove, The Gap and Indooroopilly Police Divisions.
On Saturday September 15, Police Officers from the Inner West Crime Prevention Unit along with members from their respective Inner West NHWQ groups gathered together to celebrate the 30th anniversary of NHWQ at the Walton Bridge Reserve, The Gap.
The gathering provided the opportunity for Inner West Police to acknowledge and thank their respective Neighbourhood Watch group members for their continual enthusiasm, dedication and contribution to the program.
The gathering also provided an opportunity for those attending to personally meet other Inner West NHWQ members, share ideas and establish networks.
