Detectives have made significant arrests as part of a four-month operation targeting the distribution of methylamphetamine (ICE) and other drugs by a syndicate across Brisbane.
Between May 23 and September 1, police from the Brisbane City Criminal Investigation Branch conducted Operation Kinetic, culminating in a total arrest of 28 persons on 164 charges, including three offences of trafficking.
Approximately 1kg of ICE was allegedly seized along with a large quantity of dangerous drugs located during the operation.
Cash and property was also seized totalling around $270,220, including a stolen Mercedes and Audi.
Notably, eight firearms including shotguns, numerous handguns and a conducted electrical weapon, as well as a sword and knife were seized.
Two 33-year-old men from East Brisbane and a 30-year-old man from Fitzgibbon will appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court later this month charged with multiple offences.
