A male detective senior constable from the State Crime Command who was stood down from official duty with the Queensland Police Service and tasked to perform
non-operational duties, has now been suspended from duty.
The 44-year-old is the subject of an investigation regarding access of the QPrime computer system for a purpose unrelated to official duties, releasing information, failing to take reasonable action, failing to declare an association and untruthfulness.
In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct. This does not mean the allegations against the officer have been substantiated.
