On Friday, July 20, Mount Nebo State School officially adopted and welcomed in their new Adopt-a-Cop, Senior Constable Ricky Blanckensee.
During the adoption ceremony Constable Ricky (as he will be known to the school’s community) and the school were presented with a formal certificate of adoption.
Constable Ricky stated he had joined the program to help build a positive relationship between police and the school community and strongly believe that through the Adopt-a-Cop program he can achieve this.
Constable Ricky further indicated that he is very eager to learn the school’s new official song and sing it with the students during future schools assemblies.
Inner West Police wish Constable Ricky all the success in his new role as the official Adopt-a-Cop for Mount Nebo State School.
