Detectives are asking the public to help locate a man in his thirties who may be able to assist with their inquiries following an incident yesterday morning in Taringa.
Marcus Richardson (pictured) is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 180cms with a thin build, brown hair (slightly balding) and blue eyes.
Initial investigations indicate shortly after 6.30am, May 1 a man forced his way into a home on Todd Street and confronted a man and woman, who were sleeping inside the residence.
A physical altercation occurred between the two men, resulting in the occupant being stabbed a number of times to the neck, hands and upper body.
The man then fled on foot. It is believed the man was known to the pair.
The victim, a 20-year-old man, was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for treatment to non-life threatening injuries.
