Thieves are currently targeting vehicles parked in driveways and on the streets in your area.
They are stealing valuable items such as laptops, wallets, handbags, phones, keys and coins.
Please do not leave any valuables in vehicles.
In the past week there were five vehicles entered and property stolen in the following streets:
Ashgrove: High Street
Toowong: Elizabeth Street
Ferny Hills: Kootangal Crescent, Kolora Crescent, and Ilga Grove
The main method of entry is through unlocked car doors, so please also ensure you lock and secure your vehicle prior to leaving it unattended.
Police have increased patrols in the area and encourage residents to secure your vehicles and don’t leave any valuables inside.
Please report any suspicious persons or vehicles seen in your area to police.
