This week Ashgrove State School adopted a new Adopt-a-Cop, Inspector Corey Allen, into the school at a special assembly.
Inspector Allen was presented a certificate of adoption along with the school Principle Anita Bond. Inspector Allen has been involved in the school for the past year and was very happy to be formally adopted.
Inspector Allen joined the program to help build a positive relationship between police and the school community and strongly believes that through the Adopt-a-Cop program this can be done. He also looks forward to being involved in the school’s up and coming events such as sports day and the school fair.
