This week is Bike Week and officers from the Indooroopilly Road Policing Unit and the Inner West Crime Prevention Unit will be setting up a police information stall tomorrow, Wednesday, May 10 from 5.30am to 8am, with education material on road safety.
Police are encouraging all motorists, cyclists and pedestrians to stop and have a chat to help raise awareness of road safety.
Police also hope to speak to cyclists that ride in the area and have a number of free bicycle bells to give to any cyclist who doesn’t have one on their bike.
This is where police will be located (red arrow). Police will help direct motorists to park in a safe spot nearby.
