Wounding charge, Gaythorne

Police have charged a woman after a man sustained an alleged stab wound in Gaythorne this afternoon.
It will be alleged that around 12.15pm, a man and a woman were involved in an altercation at a home on Bere Street.
During the altercation, a man sustained an alleged stab wound to his chest from a pair of scissors.
He managed to leave the home and walked around 50 metres to a pay phone to call police.
He was later transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for the treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
A 50-year-old woman was located and arrested a short time later.
She has been charged with one count of wounding (domestic violence offence) and will appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow.
