Operation Quebec Point, Brisbane region armed robberies

Police have released vision and a photo as part of an appeal for public assistance as investigations continue into a series of armed robberies in the Brisbane region.
Detectives as part of Operation Quebec Point believe the man (pictured) may be able to assist with inquiries into the following armed robberies which are linked:
• At 11.30pm on November 27, two armed men entered the bar area of a Didsbury Street hotel in East Brisbane with a firearm and a machete. Roadworks at Mount Nebo

There is presently substantial roadworks occurring on Mount Nebo Road, Mount Nebo between the Goat Track and Forestry Road. Part of the road has been removed to allow extensive repairs and slippage maintenance to occur.
There is only one lane of traffic open due to these roadworks and the excavations and roadway removal. As a result, there is contra-flow traffic control which is maintained via portable traffic lights.
Over the course of the last week, there have been a number of faults with these portable lights whereby they are either flashing amber at both ends at the same time, or simply not operating at all, which clearly creates a potentially dangerous situation.
Thankfully, motorists have been quick to contact us and we are able to promptly put in place a diversion until the lights can be rephased. We are hoping that over the coming days the contractor responsible for the traffic lights will
