There is just over one week until the 2019 Brookfield Show commences. The three day event will be held from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th May of 2019 at the Brookfield Showground, 550 Brookfield Road. Dear road users – school starts tomorrow!
Police from the Inner West Patrol Group wish to remind you that school speed enforcement zones will be back in operation with effect the morning of Monday, July 15.
Finally, our children will resume the new school term. Phew…
We would like to remind motorists and cyclist that the gazetted speed limits in all school zones is 40km/h from 7-9am in the morning, and from 2-4pm in the afternoon on school days.
Police will be actively policing and enforcing speed limits and traffic offences in school zones.
We ask motorists to be vigilant whilst approaching, travelling through and exiting school zones.
Please keep our school zones safe and travel safely, no matter what time it is or where you are!
