Inner West Police go to the show

Police from the Inner West Patrol Group attended the annual Samford Show and conducted proactive public engagement activities and a static crime prevention display.
Whilst participating in the show, police were given the honour of leading the Grand Parade around the main arena on Sunday, which received a huge response from the show audience.
The main attraction of the police display was the static marked police car, which allowed up and coming junior police recruits to look over an operational marked car and wear a police uniform.
It’s highly likely that the QPS will see the positive results of this awesome interaction in the years to come.
Whilst police were engaging with the younger members of the community, they also took the opportunity to promote being a safe passenger in a motor vehicle by always wearing a seat belt and not distracting mum or dad whilst their driving.
Police also reminded our junior citizens that
